Historically, the two sides have drawn in their last two meetings, with the match on 29 January 2026 ending 2-2 in favour of Al-Qadisiyah at home, while they also drew 2-2 on 13 September 2025 at Al-Hilal's ground. Al-Hilal won 2-0 on 26 May 2025, and Al-Qadisiyah won 2-1 on 27 January 2025, while Al-Hilal's last previous win before that dates back to 20 March 2021 by a score of 1-0.
