In terms of recent form, Bournemouth have won four of their last five matches, the latest of which was a 3-0 away win over Manchester United on 25 October, following wins over Milan 3-0, Sunderland 2-0 and Sturm Graz 3-0, interrupted by a heavy 1-5 defeat to Chelsea on 10 October.

Leeds United, meanwhile, have failed to taste victory in their last three matches, drawing goalless away to Sunderland on 25 October, and 1-1 with Manchester United at home on 18 October, after losing 1-2 to Arsenal on 10 October, having previously drawn 0-0 with Crystal Palace and beaten Newcastle United 4-1.

Bournemouth will be without Alex Toth, J. Araujo and Alex Scott through injury, while Leeds United will miss the efforts of M. Joseph, Joseph Peter Rodon and Daniel Owen James due to injury, in addition to Nico Elvedi, who is absent through illness.

In the Premier League table, Leeds United sit seventh with 11 points from 8 matches, having won two, drawn five and lost one, scoring 9 goals and conceding 6, while Bournemouth are thirteenth with 9 points from 8 matches, with two wins, three draws and three defeats, scoring 12 goals and conceding 13.
