[Cardiff](https://riyadaty.com/en/team/cardiff-1522) will host [Burnley](https://riyadaty.com/en/team/burnley-1146) on 7 November 2026 at 18:00 Saudi Arabia (Damascus) time, in a match that brings the two sides together in matchday 15 of the [EFL Championship](https://riyadaty.com/en/competition/efl-championship-57) for the 2026/27 season.

Cardiff go into the match on the back of mixed results in their last five games, having beaten Birmingham 1-0 at home, drawn away with Middlesbrough 2-2, won heavily against Watford 5-1, before losing away to Blackburn 1-2, and won a previous match against Charlton 3-1.

Burnley, meanwhile, have had less stable recent results, having lost 1-4 away to Lincoln, also lost 1-2 at home to Wolverhampton, drawn 2-2 at home with Charlton, before securing a big 4-0 win away against Watford, and drawn 1-1 in a previous match with Derby.

In terms of head-to-head meetings between the two sides, recent encounters have favoured Burnley, who won the last meeting on 4 March 2025 by 1-2, also recorded a heavy 5-0 win on 17 August 2024, and another win by 3-0 on 8 May 2023, while the October 2022 meeting ended in a 1-1 draw, and Burnley had also previously won 2-0 on 13 April 2019.

In the current standings, Cardiff are in 16th place with 14 points from 12 matches, having achieved 3 wins, drawn 5 matches and lost 4, scoring 19 goals and conceding 17. Burnley, meanwhile, are in 22nd place with 8 points from 12 matches as well, having won 1 of them, drawn 5 and lost 6, scoring 17 goals and conceding 25.
