Getafe enter the match after negative results in their recent rounds, having lost 0-4 away to Athletic Bilbao, lost 2-5 at home to Lugano, drawn 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano and 1-1 with Universitatea Craiova, as well as losing 0-3 in their last visit to Barcelona.

Sevilla currently sit sixth in the LaLiga standings with 17 points from 10 matches, having achieved 5 wins, drawn 2 matches and lost 3, scoring 16 goals and conceding 16 goals.

In contrast, Getafe are in 17th place with 9 points from 10 matches, having achieved 2 wins, drawn 3 matches and lost 5, scoring just 5 goals and conceding 15 goals.
