Hapoel Tel Aviv go into the match following a mixed run of results in their recent fixtures, having beaten Anadolu Efes 118-88, Virtus Bologna 90-81, Panathinaikos 91-81 and Besiktas 100-82, before suffering a defeat to Dubai [Basketball](https://riyadaty.com/en/sport/basketball) 83-97 in their last match.

Barcelona, on the other hand, arrive with strong momentum after achieving five consecutive victories, the latest of which was a win over Unicaja 92-89, preceded by wins over Valencia 98-94, Bayern Munich 88-84, Basket Zaragoza 99-81, and Olimpia Milano 89-81.

In previous meetings between the two sides, Hapoel Tel Aviv won the last two encounters, beating Barcelona 80-75 when Barcelona were hosting on 13 March 2026, and winning 103-87 on their own ground on 30 September 2025.
