Lee Mundle returns to Sunderland squad after knee injury absence

[Sunderland](https://riyadaty.com/en/team/sunderland-204) have announced the return of their player [Romaine Lee Mundle](https://riyadaty.com/en/player/romaine-lee-mundle-5831) to the squad after recovering from a knee injury.

The player had been out of action since 18 October 2026 due to the injury, before officially returning on 25 October 2026 after an absence of 7 days.

Sunderland fans are hoping to see Lee Mundle feature in the club's upcoming match against Leeds United, as part of matchday 8 of the Premier League for the 2026/27 season.

The match is scheduled to be played at Sunderland's stadium on 25 October 2026, at 19:30 Saudi time.

The match will be broadcast on beIN SPORTS.
