Nico Williams returns to training with Athletic Club after thigh injury

[Athletic Club](https://riyadaty.com/en/team/athletic-club-217) announced the recovery of their player [Nico Williams](https://riyadaty.com/en/player/nicholas-williams-arthuer-6262) from a thigh injury that had kept him out since 17 October 2026.

The player returned to normal training on 21 October 2026, after an absence that lasted 4 days.

Athletic Club's coaching staff are hoping to benefit from Williams' return in the team's next match in the 2026/27 Spanish league season.

The match, scheduled as part of the sixth round of the league, will bring together Levante and Athletic Club, and will be played at 21:00 Damascus time on 21 October 2026.

The match is set to be broadcast on beIN SPORTS.
