Racing Santander host Espanyol in direct clash to climb out of the relegation zone

Racing Santander go into the match on the back of inconsistent results, having lost their last match away to Osasuna 0-2 on 18 October 2026, and before that drawn with Valencia 2-2 at home, while suffering two heavy defeats against Celta Vigo 0-5 and Barcelona 2-7, with their only win in this run coming against Alaves 2-1.
