[Seattle Sounders](https://riyadaty.com/en/team/seattle-sounders-482) host [CF Montreal](https://riyadaty.com/en/team/cf-montreal-473) on 18 October 2026 at 05:30 Damascus time, in a meeting between the two sides in matchday 30 of [MLS](https://riyadaty.com/en/competition/mls-33) for the 2026 season, with the match broadcast on Apple TV.

Seattle Sounders go into the match on the back of a good run of results, having won three of their last four matches, including a 3-0 win over New England Revolution and a 2-1 win over Sporting Kansas City, before suffering a 0-1 defeat away to Dallas in their last outing.

In contrast, Montreal are suffering a clear decline in form, having lost three of their last five matches, the latest being a 0-3 defeat to Atlanta United and a 1-2 defeat to Toronto FC, with a single win of 3-1 over Cincinnati during this period.

Historically, meetings between the two sides have been mixed, as Seattle Sounders won by a big score of 5-0 on 2024-04-07 at their home ground, while they had previously lost to Montreal 1-2 on 2022-06-30 at the same ground, and the two sides drew 2-2 on 2017-03-12 when Montreal were hosting.

Seattle Sounders will be without Nicolas Petkovic and B. Rothrock and B. de la Vega through injury, while Montreal will be missing Bud Shane Davis Hidalgo and Brian Andres Theobalds Jimenez and Thomas Clemente Philippe Gelliet Correa for the same reason.

In the standings, Seattle Sounders sit seventh in the Western Conference with 41 points from 29 matches, having recorded 11 wins and 8 draws and 10 losses and a goal difference of 38 scored and 36 conceded. In contrast, Montreal are languishing in 15th place in the Eastern Conference with 24 points from 29 matches, having recorded 6 wins and 6 draws and 17 losses, scoring 35 goals and conceding 59 goals.
