Shabab Al Sahel to host Safa in Matchday 2 of the Lebanese Premier League

Shabab Al Sahel go into the match after losing 0-1 to Tadamon Sour on their home ground in Matchday 1. Their previous matches saw a 0-0 draw away to Jouya, and a 2-4 away defeat to Al Ahed, following two consecutive wins over Riyadi Al Abbasiya 3-0 and Racing 2-0 on their home ground.

Safa, meanwhile, come into this match after winning 2-1 against Riyadi Al Abbasiya on their home ground in Matchday 1. Before that they recorded a big 4-0 win over Al Mabarra, a 1-1 draw away to Jouya, a 1-4 defeat to Al Ahed, and a 4-2 win away to Riyadi Al Abbasiya.

Previous meetings between the two sides point to Safa's dominance in recent encounters, having beaten Shabab Al Sahel 0-1 in the match that brought them together on 12 June 2026, as well as 1-0 on 30 December 2025, and 2-0 on 31 January 2025.
