Italian club [Genoa](https://riyadaty.com/en/team/genoa-233) have announced that their player [Mohameth Djibril Ibrahima Sow](https://riyadaty.com/en/player/mohameth-djibril-ibrahima-sow-6782) has recovered from a thigh injury and returned to group training in preparation for upcoming matches.

The player had been absent from the pitch since 17 October 2026 due to this injury, before returning to training on 25 October 2026, after an absence of 8 days.

Genoa are looking to regain the player's services in the upcoming period of the 2026/27 Italian season.

Genoa are preparing to face Juventus in round 9 of Serie A, with the team playing at home.

The match will be held on 28 October 2026 at 22:45 Saudi time (the same time as Damascus).
