Stuttgart advanced to the next round of the German Cup after beating Paderborn 1-0 following a last-minute goal, in a match that saw a Paderborn player sent off.

Stuttgart knock out Paderborn with 90th-minute winner in German Cup

[VfB Stuttgart](https://riyadaty.com/en/team/vfb-stuttgart-253) advanced to the next round of the 2026 [DFB-Pokal](https://riyadaty.com/en/competition/dfb-pokal-61) after beating hosts [SC Paderborn 07](https://riyadaty.com/en/team/sc-paderborn-07-263) 1-0 in the round of 32 match played on 28 October 2026 at 20:00 Saudi time.

The only goal of the match came in the 90th minute through [Deniz Undav](https://riyadaty.com/en/player/deniz-undav-7474), settling the contest in Stuttgart's favour in the final moments.

The match saw Paderborn player [Laurin Curda](https://riyadaty.com/en/player/laurin-curda-7758) sent off in the 37th minute, leaving his side to play with ten men for more than an hour.

Stuttgart's [Fabian Bredlow](https://riyadaty.com/en/player/fabian-bredlow-7442) was named man of the match after a rating of 8.28, having played the full 90 minutes and made 5 saves.
