Acuña scores two as Portland Timbers beat Charlotte 3-2
Ariel Daniel Lassiter Acuña scored two goals to lead Portland Timbers to a 3-2 win over Charlotte in matchday 31 of the MLS.
Portland Timbers beat visitors Charlotte 3-2 in a match played in matchday 31 of the MLS 2026 season, in a match that kicked off at 5:30 Saudi time on 25 October 2026.
The standout star of the match was Ariel Daniel Lassiter Acuña, Portland Timbers player, who scored two goals in the 11th and 40th minutes.
Charlotte opened the scoring early through Bepe Bell in the 3rd minute, before Acuña turned the result around in favour of Portland Timbers with his two goals in the 11th and 40th minutes.
Aidan Tokolumatie Giorno reduced the deficit for Charlotte in the 69th minute, but Cole John Bassett added the third goal for Portland Timbers in stoppage time in the 90+6th minute to seal the match.
With this win, Portland Timbers secured three points in matchday 31 of the MLS.
