Al Quwa Al Jawiya thrash Mosul 3-0 in Iraq Stars League
Al Quwa Al Jawiya beat hosts Mosul 3-0 in the ninth round of the Iraq Stars League, thanks to a brace from Jouini and a goal from Jawad.
The match between Mosul and Al Quwa Al Jawiya, played as part of the ninth round of the Iraq Stars League 2026/27 season, ended in a 3-0 win for Al Quwa Al Jawiya, in a meeting that kicked off at 18:00 Damascus time.
H. Jouini scored the opening goal for Al Quwa Al Jawiya in the 31st minute, before M. Jawad added the second goal in the 37th minute, and Jouini then completed his brace by scoring his team's third goal in the 54th minute.
With this result, Al Quwa Al Jawiya raised their tally to 8 points from 8 matches, having scored 11 goals and conceded 12, placing them 12th in the standings after one win, five draws and two losses.
Meanwhile, Mosul's tally also remained at 8 points from 8 matches, following two wins, two draws and four losses, having scored 9 goals and conceded 12, placing them 14th in the standings table.
