Al-Rayyan top Qatar Stars League after big win over Al-Sailiya in round seven

The seventh round of the Qatar Stars League for the 2026 season concluded with six matches that produced varied results among the participating teams.

Al Sadd beat Al Shahaniya four goals to nil, while the match between Al-Gharafa and Al Ahli Doha ended in a 2-2 draw. In another match, Qatar SC overcame Al Shamal 3-2.

The clash between Al-Sailiya and Al-Rayyan saw seven goals scored, with Al-Rayyan winning by a large margin 6-1. Al Wakrah also beat Al-Arabi 3-2, and Al-Duhail secured a win over Lusail City by a score of 3-1.

With these results, Al-Rayyan top the standings with 17 points from 7 matches, having achieved 5 wins and 2 draws without any defeats, scoring 16 goals and conceding just 3.

Al Sadd occupy second place with 15 points after scoring 27 goals and conceding 13, while Al-Arabi come third with 12 points from 7 matches, level on points with Al-Duhail who have the same tally but from only 6 matches.

At the bottom of the table, Al-Gharafa are in tenth place with 6 points, followed by Qatar SC in eleventh place with the same tally, while Al-Sailiya are bottom of the standings in twelfth place with just 1 point after losing 6 matches out of 7.
