Asensio had been absent from his team since 17 October 2026 due to the injury, before announcing his full recovery on 26 October 2026, after an absence lasting 9 days.
Fans are looking forward to the player featuring for Fenerbahçe in an anticipated match against Galatasaray as part of matchday 9 of the Turkish Super League for the 2026/27 season.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 21:30 Saudi time (the same as Damascus time) on 26 October 2026.
