Atalanta host Pafos in matchday one of the Conference League league phase

Atalanta will host Cyprus's Pafos in matchday one of the league phase of the 2026 Conference League, on 15 October 2026 at 22:00 Damascus time, with the match broadcast on beIN Sports.

Atalanta go into the match after their recent 3-1 win over Venezia on 12 October 2026, though their previous results had been inconsistent, having lost 0-2 to Juventus, 1-2 to Cagliari, and 1-2 to Roma, against one win over Bologna by 1-0.

Pafos's recent results have also been mixed, having beaten Dinamo Tirana 4-2, drawn with them 1-1 in another meeting, drawn 3-3 with Red Bull Salzburg and lost 0-1 to them in another match, while also recording a 2-0 win over Hajduk Split.

Atalanta will be without Soulemana for other reasons until 25 October 2026, and E. Hien through injury until 8 November 2026.

Atalanta sit eighth in the standings while Pafos are in fifteenth place, with both teams yet to play a match in this edition of the competition.
