Crewe host AFC Wimbledon in FA Cup first round

Crewe will host AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup first round for the 2026 season, in a match scheduled for 7 November 2026 at 18:00 Damascus time.

Crewe's recent results have seen a decline, having lost to Doncaster 1-2 at home on 1 November 2025, as well as losing to Dagenham and Redbridge 0-1 at home on 2 November 2024, and also losing to Bristol Rovers 2-4 at home on 12 December 2023. In two previous matches against Derby, Crewe won away 3-1 on 14 November 2023, and drew 2-2 at home on 5 November 2023.

As for AFC Wimbledon, they lost their last match against Gateshead 0-2 at home on 1 November 2025, and also lost to Dagenham and Redbridge 1-2 at home on 30 November 2024, while beating Milton Keynes Dons away 2-0 on 3 November 2024. The team lost to Ipswich Town 1-3 at home on 6 January 2024, while achieving a big win over Ramsgate 5-0 at home on 4 December 2023.
