The player had been absent from the pitch since 10 October 2026 due to the injury, before officially returning on 14 October 2026, following an absence of 4 days.
De Baira is expected to be available to feature with his team in matchday 29 of the American Football League for the 2026 season.
New York City FC will travel to face Inter Miami in a match to be played on 15 October 2026 at 02:30 Damascus time.
The match will be broadcast on Apple TV.
