Player J. Diehl has recovered from a muscle injury that kept him out of Stuttgart's squad for 6 days, and is now ready to face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
VfB Stuttgart have announced that their player J. Diehl has recovered from a muscle injury he had been suffering from, making him ready to return to action with the team.
Diehl had been out of Stuttgart's squad since 14 October 2026 due to the injury, before returning to full training on 20 October 2026, after an absence of 6 days.
Diehl is expected to be available to face Atletico Madrid, with the two sides meeting in matchday three of the league phase of the Champions League for the 2026/27 season.
The match will be held at VfB Stuttgart's stadium, kicking off at 22:00 Saudi Arabia and Damascus time on 20 October 2026.
