ES Tunis beat Asswehly on penalties to qualify in CAF Champions League

ES Tunis qualified for the next round of the 2026 season CAF Champions League after beating their guests Asswehly on penalties 3-1, following a draw in normal time.

Normal time of the match, which was played on Friday 24 October 2026 at 19:00 Saudi time (the same as Damascus time), ended with a 1-0 win for ES Tunis.

As the match was not decided in normal time, the two sides went to a penalty shootout, which ended in ES Tunis prevailing 3-1 to book their ticket to the next round of the competition.
