Liverpool have announced the return of Cody Gakpo to training after a 6-day absence due to an ankle injury, as the club prepares to face Brentford in the English Premier League.
Cody Mathès Gakpo has returned to training with his team Liverpool after recovering from an ankle injury.
Gakpo had been absent from the pitch since 11 October 2026 due to this injury, before announcing his recovery and return on 17 October 2026, after an absence lasting 6 days.
Gakpo is expected to be available to take part in Liverpool's upcoming match against Brentford, in round 7 of the English Premier League for the 2026/27 season.
The match is scheduled to be played at Brentford's stadium, kicking off at 17:00 Damascus time.
