Galatasaray top Turkish league with two-point lead over Amed after matchday 8

Galatasaray are top of the Turkish Süper Lig standings for the 2026/27 season after the end of the eighth round, with 19 points from 8 matches, having achieved 6 wins, one draw and one loss, scoring 17 goals and conceding 11.

Amed are in second place with 17 points, two points behind the leaders, after winning 5 matches, drawing 2 and losing one, scoring 18 goals and conceding just 9.

Fenerbahçe are third with 16 points, while Beşiktaş are fourth with 15 points from just 7 matches. Trabzonspor, Çorum FK and Kasımpaşa share fifth to seventh place with 13 points each.

The middle of the table is congested, with a single point separating several teams, as Kocaelispor and Alanyaspor occupy eighth and ninth place with 12 points each, while Başakşehir and Erzurumspor FK have 11 points in tenth and eleventh place.

At the bottom of the table, Konyaspor are in sixteenth place with just 5 points from 8 matches, followed by Samsunspor in seventeenth place with 4 points after one win, one draw and six losses.

Eyüpspor are in eighteenth and last place with just 3 points, having won one match and lost 7, scoring just two goals and conceding 22 goals.
