Gomes returns to training with Columbus Crew after injury absence
André Gomes has recovered from a back injury and is now ready to feature for Columbus Crew, after a 5-day absence, ahead of a clash with D.C. United.
Columbus Crew have announced that their player André Gomes has recovered from a back injury and returned to normal training.
Gomes had been out of action since 24 October 2026 due to the injury, before returning on 29 October 2026, following an absence of 5 days.
The player's return comes at the right time ahead of his team's upcoming match against D.C. United, in matchday 33 of the 2026 American football league season.
The match is scheduled to be held at Columbus Crew's stadium on 31 October 2026, at 21:00 Saudi time (the same as Damascus time).
The match will be broadcast on Apple TV.
