Inter and Lazio top Serie A after conclusion of matchday seven
The curtain has come down on matchday seven of Serie A with wins for Inter and Lazio, who now share top spot on 19 points each, while Venezia sit bottom of the table.
The matchday seven fixtures of the 2026/27 Serie A football season concluded with ten matches producing varied results.
Frosinone beat Sassuolo 4-2, Venezia defeated Napoli 1-0, while Inter crushed hosts Bologna 3-1. AS Roma also beat Genoa 2-0, and Lecce won 3-0 away at hosts Udinese.
In other matches, Como beat hosts Fiorentina 3-1, while AC Milan defeated Atalanta 3-2. Lazio claimed a big away win over Juventus 3-0, Monza thrashed visitors Cagliari 4-0, and Torino beat hosts Parma 3-0.
After the round concluded, Inter top the table with 19 points from 7 matches on goal difference ahead of Lazio, who also have 19 points, while AS Roma are third with 17 points, and AC Milan come fourth with 15 points.
On the other hand, Genoa occupy eighteenth place with 4 points, level on points with Fiorentina in nineteenth, while Venezia are bottom in twentieth place with just 3 points from 7 matches.
