Inter and Lazio top Serie A after matchday six concludes
Inter Milan and Lazio were level at the top of Serie A with 16 points following the results of matchday six, while Venezia remained bottom of the table without a single point.
Matchday six of the 2026/27 Italian Serie A football season concluded with a number of results, most notably Inter Milan's big win over Parma by three goals to nil, and Napoli's win over Frosinone by the same 3-0 scoreline.
In the rest of the matches, Genoa beat Fiorentina 2-1, the Como v AS Roma match ended in a goalless draw, while Lazio beat Monza 3-1.
Bologna also beat hosts Lecce 2-1, Sassuolo drew with AC Milan 1-1, Cagliari drew with Juventus 1-1, while Atalanta beat Venezia 3-1, and Torino beat Udinese 2-1.
With these results, Inter Milan and Lazio top the standings with 16 points each after playing 6 matches, with each side winning 5 matches and drawing 1 without any defeats.
AS Roma occupy third place with 14 points after 4 wins and 2 draws without any defeat, while Cagliari come in fourth place with 13 points.
On the other hand, Venezia are bottom of the league table without any points after losing all six of their matches, preceded in nineteenth place by Fiorentina with 4 points, and in eighteenth place by Parma also with 4 points.
