Luke Shaw back in contention for Manchester United after injury absence
Manchester United's Luke Shaw has recovered from injury and is ready to feature again after a 6-day absence, as his side prepare to face Chelsea in the Premier League.
Manchester United have announced the return of Luke Paul Hoare Shaw to training and full fitness after recovering from the injury that had kept him off the pitch.
Shaw had been absent from his side since 25 October 2026 due to injury, before announcing his recovery and return on 31 October 2026, following a 6-day absence.
The player's return comes at an opportune time, as Manchester United prepare for an important match against Chelsea in round 9 of the 2026/27 Premier League season.
The match is scheduled to take place at Chelsea's stadium on 31 October 2026 at 15:30 Saudi Arabia time (the same as Damascus time).
The match will be broadcast on beIN SPORTS.
