Aston Villa have announced that their player Matteo Ruggeri has returned to full training after recovering from a muscle injury.
Ruggeri had sustained the injury on 17 October 2026, and was out of action for 7 days before announcing his recovery on 24 October 2026.
The team are hoping their player will feature in the upcoming match against Manchester City in round 8 of the English Premier League for the 2026/27 season.
The match will be held at Aston Villa's ground on 24 October 2026, at 14:30 Saudi time (also Damascus time).
The match will be broadcast on beIN SPORTS.
