Messi scores brace as Inter Miami beat Atlanta United 3-1

Inter Miami secured an important 3-1 win away to Atlanta United FC in a match played as part of matchday 30 of MLS for the 2026 season, in a game that kicked off at 02:30 Damascus time on 18 October.

Argentine star Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini was the standout performer of the match after scoring two goals in the 56th and 60th minutes, leading his side to victory after Inter Miami had taken the lead in the 45th minute through a goal scored by J. Bertiramy.

Atlanta United FC narrowed the gap through a penalty goal scored by F. Pico in the 89th minute, but that was not enough to avoid defeat against the visiting side.

With this win, Inter Miami continue their MLS campaign, aided directly by Messi's contribution of two goals.

Apple TV broadcast the match, which saw four goals shared between the two teams.
