Sunderland have announced that their player Thomas André A. Meunier has returned to fitness after recovering from a muscle injury that had kept him off the pitch.
The player had been out since 18 October 2026 and returned to training on 25 October 2026, after an absence of 7 days.
Meunier's return comes ahead of Sunderland's match against visitors Leeds United in matchday 8 of the Premier League for the 2026/27 season.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 19:30 Saudi Arabia time (the same as Damascus time).
The match will be broadcast on the beIN Sports network of channels.
