Nuno Santos returns to training with Sporting CP after muscle injury
Nuno Santos, Sporting CP player, has recovered from a muscle injury that kept him out for 8 days, becoming available before the match against LASK Linz in the UEFA Champions League.
Sporting CP announced the return of their player Nuno Santos to normal training, after his recovery from a muscle injury that had kept him off the pitch.
Nuno Santos had been absent from his team since 13 October 2026 due to the injury, before his recovery and return were announced on 21 October 2026, after an absence lasting 8 days.
The player's recovery comes at a suitable time, as Sporting CP prepare for an important match in the third round of the league phase of the UEFA Champions League for the 2026/27 season.
Sporting CP will face LASK Linz at their stadium, in a match kicking off at 22:00 Saudi Arabia (Damascus) time on 21 October 2026.
The match will be broadcast on the beIN Sports network of channels.
