Philippe Sandler returns to full fitness with NEC Nijmegen after injury layoff
Philippe Sandler of NEC Nijmegen has recovered from injury and is ready to play again after a 7-day absence, as his team prepares to face Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League.
NEC Nijmegen have announced the return of their player Philippe Sandler to training and full fitness after recovering from the injury that had kept him off the pitch.
Sandler had been absent from his team since 15 October 2026 due to injury, before announcing his recovery and return on 22 October 2026, after a 7-day absence.
NEC Nijmegen's technical staff are hoping to benefit from the player's return in the team's upcoming match against Dinamo Zagreb in the 2026/27 Europa League.
The match will be played as part of Matchday 3 of the league phase, with Dinamo Zagreb hosting NEC Nijmegen.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 19:45 Saudi Arabia time, which corresponds to Damascus time.
The match will be broadcast on the beIN Sports network of channels.
