Pyramids thrash El Merriekh Bentiu 4-0 in CAF Champions League preliminary round
Egypt's Pyramids FC beat visiting El Merriekh Bentiu 4-0 in the second preliminary round of the 2026 CAF Champions League, with a brace from Abdel Rahman Magdi and goals from Mostafa Fathi and Ahmed Nadir Benbouali.
Pyramids FC secured a big win over their guests El Merriekh Bentiu by a score of 4-0 in the two sides' second preliminary round match of the 2026 CAF Champions League, in a game held on 24 October that kicked off at 20:00 Saudi time.
Abdel Rahman Magdi opened the scoring for Pyramids in the 23rd minute, before adding the second goal in the 28th minute to register a personal brace in the first half.
Before the end of the first half, Mostafa Fathi added Pyramids' third goal in the 45+2nd minute to extend his side's lead before heading into the break.
In the second half, the fourth and final goal came through Ahmed Nadir Benbouali in the 71st minute to conclude the scoring in the match.
The match ended with a 4-0 win for Pyramids over El Merriekh Bentiu, and the game was broadcast on beIN SPORTS.
