The player had been out since 11 October 2026 due to the injury, before returning to training and the squad on 15 October 2026.
This means Puig was out for just 4 days before regaining his fitness.
Los Angeles Galaxy are preparing to face Portland Timbers in matchday 29 of the 2026 American football league season.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 05:30 Damascus time, and will be broadcast on Apple TV.
