Simba crush 15 de Agosto with clean sweep in CAF Champions League preliminary round

Simba beat hosts 15 de Agosto by a big score of 6-1 in a match held as part of the second preliminary round of the 2026 CAF Champions League, on 21 October at 15:00 Saudi time.

N. Chilambo opened the scoring for Simba in the 43rd minute, before Elie Mpanzu Kibisawala added the second goal in the 56th minute. Ibrahim Doumbia continued by scoring the third goal in the 65th minute, and K. Makgalwa completed the fourth goal in the 72nd minute.

Anicet Alain Oura added the fifth goal for Simba in the 82nd minute, before Ibrahim Doumbia scored his second personal goal and his team's sixth in the 88th minute, with 15 de Agosto narrowing the gap with a goal in the 90+1st minute.

Simba dominated proceedings in the match, holding possession at 64 percent against 36 percent for the hosts, and attempted 25 shots, 11 on target and 14 off target, compared to just two shots for 15 de Agosto, one of which was on target.
