Young Africans crush CFFA with four unanswered goals in CAF Champions League preliminary round

The match between CFFA and Young Africans in the second preliminary round of the 2026 CAF Champions League ended in a big win for Young Africans by four unanswered goals.

C. Touré opened the scoring for Young Africans in the 40th minute, before A. Kangwanda added the second goal in the 48th minute, immediately after the start of the second half.

Young Africans continued to press, with Mudathir Yahya Abbas Abasi scoring the third goal in the 55th minute, before the fourth goal arrived in the 59th minute to settle the result in favour of the visiting side.

With this result, CFFA are out of the competition after a heavy defeat, while Young Africans secure a wide-margin victory that strengthens their position in their CAF Champions League campaign.
