Guirassy leads Borussia Dortmund to victory over Azerbaijan's Sabah in Champions League

Borussia Dortmund beat hosts Sabah FA 2-1 in a match between the two sides in the third round of the league phase of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League.

The match was played on 20 October 2026 at 19:45 Saudi Arabia and Damascus time, and was broadcast on beIN SPORTS.

The man of the match was Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Yadaly Guirassy, who scored twice to lead his side to victory.

Guirassy opened the scoring for Borussia Dortmund in the 10th minute, before Eden McArthy equalised for Sabah FA in the 39th minute.

Guirassy then scored his second goal and his side's second goal in the 53rd minute, as Borussia Dortmund secured the result in their favour 2-1.
