Mățan recovers from injury and returns to St. Louis City squad
Alexandru Irinel Mățan, St. Louis City striker, has returned to training after recovering from a leg injury, and is preparing to take part in the match against San Diego.
St. Louis City have announced that their player Alexandru Irinel Mățan has recovered from his leg injury and returned to the team squad once again.
Mățan had been absent from the pitch since 25 October 2026 due to his leg injury, before returning to training on 29 October 2026, after an absence lasting 4 days.
The team are hopeful that Mățan will take part in the upcoming match against San Diego, in round 33 of the American football league for the 2026 season.
The match is scheduled to be held at St. Louis City's stadium on 31 October 2026, at 22:00 Saudi time.
