Nicolas Pépé returns to training after recovering from eye injury
Villarreal striker Nicolas Pépé has recovered from an eye injury and is ready to play again, after a 7-day absence, ahead of the Champions League clash with Liverpool.
Spanish club Villarreal announced that their player Nicolas Pépé has recovered from an eye injury that had kept him out of action.
Pépé had been absent from his team since 13 October 2026 due to the injury, before returning to fitness on 20 October 2026, after a 7-day absence.
Villarreal are anticipating their player's return ahead of an upcoming match against Liverpool in the third round of the league phase of the 2026/27 Champions League.
The match is scheduled to be held at Liverpool's stadium, with Villarreal visiting the English side, at 22:00 Saudi Arabia and Damascus time on 20 October 2026.
The match will be broadcast on beIN SPORTS channels.
